Mission Statement

Next-to-New is a ministry of St. David's Episcopal Church, empowered by God's love and sustained by hope, joy, vitality, and vision to serve the church and each other in our community. We are committed to conveying through words and actions our conviction that all of us - consignors, customers, our staff, and volunteers - are all children of God, worthy of courtesy, honesty, kindness, respect and generosity in dealing with each other.

Description

The Next-to-New Shop , a ministry of St. David’s church, is the only not-for-profit consignment/resale shop since 1959. Next-to-New has a small staff with a large number of volunteers and all of our net proceeds go to local charities via grants; over three million dollars to date.

We offer consignment, donations, and estate sales. You can find more information on our website (www.next2new.org) and on Facebook (www.facebook.com/TheNextToNewShop). Located in North Central Austin, we are open Mon-Sat 10a-4p.

We have big plans and need to significantly grow our volunteer database. From intaking quality merchandise through wrapping purchased items, we can quickly teach you what to do.
