Mission Statement
Through our Lifeline for Success approach, the mission of TUA is to help change and improve the lives of individuals, grow a reliable and capable labor pool for manufacturing and industrial businesses, and to give back to local communities by infusing the population with graduates who have the skills needed to be viable and responsible citizens.
Description
TUA was founded on the recognition that vast human resources have gone untapped for decades. This shortfall has been a barricade to personal growth as well as community and manufacturing development for too long. TUA believes that the answer is the creation of a comprehensive program that will bring out and foster both the personal and professional development of individuals within the greater community. TUA is designed to be the link between the manufacturing/warehousing industries and the untapped thousands of individuals of all ages, races, and religions who face personal self esteem, economic, and social barriers that compromise their success and ultimately, their community.
For years, our Board of Directors have worked in this industry and know first-hand how difficult it is to find individuals with proper training and the dedication required for success. The Detroit Metropolitan Area has always been in need of affordable and accessible training. It is TUA’s mission to supply that training, therefore fostering regional business growth.
