Faithful Fields has trained rescue dogs to be emotional support animals for Veterans with PTSD, young adults transitional homes, as well as kids in the foster system.
The rescue dogs rehabilitations starts with a visit to the vet for any health issues, vaccinations, spay or neutering. Once healthy they enter a multi level training program. By partnering with Faithful K9 Trainer, LLC in Coeur d'alene Idaho our dogs have a safe environment to start their journey of board & train. Once ready some dogs transition for 2-4 month to prison into the PAWS program with the Idaho Correctional Institute in Orofino. Assigned to 2 inmates, a primary and secondary dog trainer. Once graduated from PAWS (Paroling Animals with Skills) with their CGC through the American Kennel Club, all dogs are up for adoption. However if we find dogs with the right temperament to be off service for those in need in our community, training is continued through Faithful K9 Trainer, LLC and paired with those suffering with trauma and PTSD.
