Mission Statement
Girls to the Power of Math (G^M) is a Not-for-Profit organization based in BC, Canada. We provide FREE after-school programming for elementary school girls to boost their confidence in math through fun games and mentorship.
Description
G^M was developed based on the results from a study conducted by Alexa Bailey to evaluate whether confidence differs between genders over the course of elementary school. Results showed that girls’ confidence in math declines as they get older.
