Our mission is to transform lives by using collaborative songwriting to expand creativity, connections and strengths. We envision a way to create and deliver programs that successfully help people connect with self, community, and society to forge a more hopeful, unified world. Our program's goal is to help veterans, active military, and their families build hope and discover their strengths and creativity through the power of music.

Description

SongwritingWith:Soldiers uses collaborative songwriting to build hope, create community and generate positive change for veterans, active military and their families. We host up to 11 weekend retreats and over 130 one-day immersive songwriting sessions each year. Each year, we serve nearly 1,000 veterans and add over 200 songs to our catalog which allows the veterans to express themselves, and also allows other veterans and civilians to hear their stories and connect. https://songwritingwithsoldiers.org/listen/song-search/
