We rescue mustangs and other horses from unhealthy situations. Our program aims at rehabilitating and finding forever homes for the horses that are a good fit for domestication. Those that may not be a good fit can spend their days roaming our 137 acre sanctuary. We do an EAL program we created called MAL(Mustang Assisted Learning) with Veterans and other at risk populations

Volunteering at Mustang Valley is a special gift. The Sanctuary is situated in a quiet beautiful valley. The Mustangs are loving and sweet and they give back 200% of what you give. We have volunteered here as a family since 2021. My husband and I and our 2 kids who are now teens have learned so much from Mary. It’s just a beautiful serene space that nourishes mind and spirit all while you get the body moving and breathing fresh mountain air.

I love Mustangs and horses of all kinds. Mustang Valley Sanctuary gives me an opportunity for positive change for these magnificent beings. Rescue and sanctuary is hard work and volunteers are an important part of this work. I am grateful to be a part of this effort.

Mary at Mustang Valley is so loving and welcoming, not only towards horses, but also towards the volunteers. We were able to have as flexible a schedule as we needed. It was a wonderful experience to spend the time with the horses, knowing we were supporting Mary’s mission to save and rehome as many American Mustangs as possible.
