D.I.S.R.U.P.T. Utah (DU) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to engage with youth in state custody, those on the pathways to incarceration, and justice-involved, to disrupt generational trauma, strengthen cross-cultural awareness, exercise emotional resilience, and actively commit to inclusivity and belonging.
Description
DU is founded on the values of justice, racial, and social equity. We strive to develop equitable practices and foster a sense of inclusion among emerging generations by focusing on collective liberation and respect. We seek to create an inclusive world by honoring our duty as future ancestors, through youth engagement among those most marginalized.
