Kindred Enterprises is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide inclusive opportunity and community for people of different socio-economic backgrounds.

Description

Kindred’s curriculum will provide hands-on training in professionalism, food safety, pastry arts, baking, and operations.

Once these skills are acquired, they can be applied at Kindred’s future brick and mortar location or other bakeries. Our current target population is low-income young adults 16 years and older in New York City. Our future plans also entail replicating Kindred Bakery in other communities in the Tri-State area and beyond.
