To provide comprehensive resettlement assistance to endangered wartime allies who served U.S. interests in conflict and war zones.
Description
Thanks to our community partners and volunteers, KOP offers the following resettlement services to our wartime allies:
- Find & furnish apartments
- Offer Caring Circles for families to navigate their new lives in Rochester.
- Assist in employment readiness, and referral to employment services.
- Upon completion of 100 community volunteer hours, KOP offers a modest car grants so SIVs can get to work.
- Partner with local programs offering free skilled trades programs and English classes.

Since 2014, KOP and our generous community has made the following impact:
- 285 SIV families have been provided with fully furnished apartments (25 of which have gone on to become homeowners)
- 174 SIV families received Wheels for Work-Car/Grants
