Description

CGO Inc., founded in January 2021, is dedicated to educating middle and high school students about financial literacy, aiming to decrease the wage gap and empower young people of color. We provide free financial literacy programs to schools, offering workshops and interactive activities that teach practical financial skills.

Our comprehensive approach focuses on topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, and credit management. We partner with banks and financial experts to advise and teach essential financial skills. CGO Inc is also committed to supporting academic success through the Start to Success Backpack Campaign, where we distribute backpacks and school supplies to families in need.

Last year, we helped 135 families in the Peachtree Corners/Norcross community, and this year we aim to double our impact by assisting 270 families. We need your help gathering essential school supplies, including backpacks, paper, binders, dividers, writing utensils, coloring utensils, glue sticks, and scissors.

Our biggest accomplishment is our scholarship program, having awarded eighteen scholarships to high school seniors to assist them in furthering their education at colleges, universities, or technical schools.
