Maker Radio Media’s mission is to operate 94.5, KWQA, an independent, non-corporate, eclectic low-power radio station that provides the public with unique artistic, cultural, social, and educational content, while providing a platform for local musicians, artists, educators, students, and events.
Maker Radio is a low power FM station based in Chico, California, and run by Maker Radio Media, a nonprofit that supports local arts and artists. The station has been on-air since 2019, and is continually growing and expanding its reach into the arts community.
