Mission Statement
End Child Poverty" - Being the "Voice for the Children" Providing a mentorship and internship program that gives students access to vital resources, services, and emotional and mental support while also motivating them to study more and helping them in discovering their purpose
Description
As a resource center and safe- haven for underprivileged and at-risk girls and youth in need of resources and services, the nonprofit Peaches and Cream Foundation was established in 2004 and became 501 c 3 in February 2007. We help them in identifying their life's purpose by teaching them how to communicate with other students, express their creativity, and enhance their academic performance. In order for them to succeed academically and become exceptional adults, we also offer civic engagement, workforce readiness, and social, emotional, and mental support.
The Peaches and Cream Foundation has provided services for college students, underserved and at-risk school-age adolescents, and their families living in underserved, underappreciated, and rural communities for over 20 years. We are recognized as a volunteer-based organization that serves as a mobile outreach resource center. Our services include a National/International Internship and Mentorship Program that provides internship for college students and teach them and young people about positive interactions, personal growth, teamwork, economic development, entrepreneurship, life and social skills, and financial, writing, and reading literacy. It also teaches students/children/youth the building blocks of independence and diversity. We also offer a non-collegiate sorority for young girls and mental health advocacy support.
