Volunteer Board Members Needed

Do you have a passion for senior cats? June's Senior Cat Rescue is looking for compassionate and caring people to donate their time volunteering on the JSCR board. The JSCR board is a working board that serves the organization, which is located in the Albuquerque metro area. Board meetings are held virtually once a month, so travel won't be an issue if you don't reside in the city. We help steer the organization and manage an all-volunteer network of foster homes that care for the senior and special needs cats. JSCR also has Hannah's House, which is managed by JSCR founder Janet where she cares for senior cats who are hospice cats and are not up for adoption. Please reach out to us to inquire about becoming a board member. We would love to chat with you about the opportunity and making a difference in the lives of senior cats. Transport cats to the vet

June's Senior Cat Rescue takes in senior cats who usually need to go to the vet a lot. We have several cats who receive a Solencia shot every month for pain. These appointments are scheduled as tech appointments which means they don't see a vet and they are short and sweet. We are looking for someone who can pick up the cats from their foster home and take them to their vet appointments. We have several cats who go every month but not on the same day. The transporter can pick the day and time that they can take the cats to the vet as long as it's within the timeframe of when the cats need their shot.

June's Senior Cat Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit that helps senior cats. We need someone who can take the videos we make and splice them together, add music and generally make them compelling so that people will want to donate. This job can be done virtually or can be local.
