Furever Feline Cat Rescue is seeking a dedicated Research Assistant, with an understanding of engineering, to help us find those that will create our groundbreaking technology aimed at improving the lives of feral cats. If you're detail-oriented, love research, and want to make a meaningful impact, we want you on our team! About the Project: Our mission is to develop an automated monitoring and feeding system that supports feral cat colonies. These technologies will help us monitor feral cat colonies. What You’ll Do: Reach out to engineering departments at universities to identify opportunities for collaboration, including student volunteers or research partnerships. Who We’re Looking For: Passionate animal lovers who are committed to improving the lives of feral cats. Detail-oriented individuals with strong research, analytical, and communication skills. Candidates who are proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, especially in outreach and networking. Commitment: Flexible hours with a commitment of 1 year. This is a remote opportunity, with the option to attend virtual team meetings as needed. Engineering Students Wanted - Hardware, Software, Electrical Must be based in the USA. No OPT students as we cannot guarantee the hours. Furever Feline Cat Rescue is building a mobile feral cat feeder that needs new technology and/or the modification of technology that already exists. We know what we need and just need someone with the technological capabilities we do no have. We do already have CAD drawing of The Hawk, we just need help with the technology. This tech will help us monitor feral cat colonies all over the country, saving thousands of cats lives. All we need is the technology and we are considering various ways to adapt tech to our needs.
