THE CHILDRENS SCHOOL

Description

The Children's School, a nonprofit organization, offers preschool and summer camp programs. We have been nurturing young children's development and sense of belonging since 1965. We use a play-based approach. We affirm children’s developing sense of self and emphasize social-emotional learning through practicing empathy, conflict-resolution, communication and problem-solving skills. As an organization, we continue to work on increasing our anti-bias practices in and out of the classrooms. We are growing and are seeking volunteers to join us in making a difference in the lives of young children and their families.
