WHAT ARE WE ALL ABOUT? That answer is easy - loving the sport of Softball! We want our girls to play good, clean softball with their friends. The league is governed by USA Softball and adheres to the rules and guidelines set forth by USA Softball. PYL Softball is a place where girls learn to play softball in a positive environment, and encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating support for all players, coaches and officials at every game, practice or other sporting events. Softball is a great game, and we hope to see you on the dirt!
Description
Established in 1970, Placentia Yorba Linda Girls Softball Association (PYLGSA) is a fastpitch softball league for girls aged 5-18.
The league got its start in 1970 as Bob Etts Softball. The teams practiced and played their games at Sierra Vista and Wagner elementary schools. Since then, PYL softball has earned a reputation as one of Southern California’s most respected leagues, winning a State championship in 2008, as well as many division championships throughout the years.
