Mission Statement
The Climate Reality Northern Colorado Chapter is the voice of reality in Larimer and Weld Counties by advocating for local- and state-level policies that promote clean, renewable energy sources, helping the US meet its Paris Agreement climate commitments. Our key mission is to empower our local residents to build a mass movement in support of climate change.
Description
We lead on climate through education, advocacy, coalition building and action in an effort to mitigate against and adapt to the impacts of climate change.
We envision a world where climate dialogue is normalized and everyone has equal access to clean water, clean air, nourishing food, clean electricity, and a healthy and just environment. We will work towards creating a larger, more diverse, and sustainable movement in the NOCO area that leads to stronger climate activism at all levels, and provides for a just transition to a fossil free future.
We are the go-to group in Northern Colorado for solution-driven and evidence-based climate education and collaborations to address the intersection of climate and justice.
