As a 501(c)(3) organization, we are eligible for many public and private grants related to preventing or reducing gun violence. Prior grant writing experience would be beneficial, but is not required. For someone without experience, this volunteer opportunity could be valuable experience for a future career in grant writing. This includes preventative measures that can be taken to avoid shootings. The Assistant will help the Executive Director oversee operations, cultivate relationships that will further the cause and assists in fundraising. We feel something must be done while the differing sides of gun control continue to endlessly debate that issue.

As an IRS approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, PPF uses grant proceeds and tax deductible donations to provide tools that can be used to prevent or reduce the harm done by gun violence.
