Mission Statement
Our mission is to build resilient communities through mental health education and awareness. We believe that Mental Health Literacy is a foundational need and right of every individual. With education and awareness, we can work together to decrease stigma and open the door to conversations about mental illness. We know that mental illnesses are treatable and that nobody deserves to suffer silently or shamefully.
Description
We provide evidence-based mental health literacy programming for schools, organizations, and communities. Our overarching goal is to improve mental health literacy for as many people as possible. We believe that a foundational education in mental health is critical and leads to earlier identification and treatment, increased health promotion, and overall healthier people. We focus in particular on adolescents and young adults, as they are in great need of mental health literacy in order to live their best lives.
