REMOTE OR IN-PERSON OPPORTUNITY If you have experience in motion graphic design, animation or videography, then Ezen Foundation would love to hear from you! You will work with our social media team to create engaging digital content which will help bring our social media pages to life. We are primarily seeking volunteers who can assist with creating content on our Instagram page @ezenjapan, which aims to share Japanese art and culture with our audience and followers. From our account's launch date we have gained over 15k followers, and we are hoping to expand our social media presence beyond images to include video and animated content in our posts and on our stories. We are also seeking volunteers who can help us create a distinctive and recognisable outro for future video content. The role will involve: Creating animated graphics and gifs for sharing on our Instagram. Animating existing designs for sharing online. Brainstorming and coming up with potential ways to further enhance the video aspect of our social media presence. Working with the team to come up with ideas and templates for our social media brand. This role is perfect for those wishing use their existing skillset to gain experience in the an arts NPO. The position will also give you plenty of practical experience to add to your CV.

Ezen Foundation has various projects in the pipeline, but all these things cost money! IN-PERSON AND HYBRID ROLES AVAILABLE That’s why as a non-profit organisation, we rely on the help of volunteers and the generosity of donators. But an essential part of acquiring funding for these activities is fundraising. As a fundraising volunteer, you’ll be * working with Ezen staff and events volunteers to develop Eventbrite pages * develop and activate kick-start campaigns * brainstorm new and exciting fundraising activities with Ezen staff and volunteers * help prepare resources and write grants applications Thankfully we have the support of the local council, various institutions, and key individuals who specialise in this field who are happy to offer their knowledge and guidance so this is a chance for volunteers to network and gain insight. Within the gallery, we have a vast collection of original prints which we are in the process of digitising, to not only keep a visual tab on our inventory, but also to utilise the images for promotional/educational purposes. Art digitisation is a very valuable skill in art conservation and database management. Not only this, but it makes art more accessible to those who may not have the opportunity see this art. One of Ezen Foundation's future aims is to collate this art into an open access database for students, researchers, and enthusiasts, so your digitisations will be helping us to reach this goal! This job is for those with a passion for vintage and antique art prints. This is a rare opportunity to learn how to handle, store, and digitise rare art up close, perfect for your CV if you’re aiming to get into the classical art world! Handing original works of art requires attentiveness, care and it is a very rare opportunity to handling such an extensive collection for those with an interest in Japanese woodblock prints.

Ezen Foundation is committed to cultivating an engaging and accessible environment to Japanese art and culture. Part of how we do this is through holding events. The kinds of events we have and aim to run in future are: * educational talks with guest speakers * community events to introduce locals to Japanese culture * workshops * demonstrations * (potentially) a Japanese festival matsuri But any new ideas are welcome! Coordinating events is all about networking and organisation.
