We are looking for volunteer leaders who love to work with and alongside middle school students in the Milwaukee North Shore area. WyldLife leaders have the privilege of knowing and sharing their lives with teens (6-8th grade). WyldLife gives middle school kids the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp and other exciting activities. WyldLife staff and volunteers model Christ’s unconditional love and acceptance as they walk alongside these teens -- filling their lives with love and support. We have our clubs on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month in Whitefish Bay during the school year. Then outside of those nights, as leaders, we stay in touch with the students and form relationships with them through cheering them on at their sporting events, attending their plays, getting ice cream, going to movies, etc! We also have a 5 day camp trip in the summer and a weekend retreat in the late fall.

Young Life gives high school students the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, cabin times, camp and other exciting activities. Young Life staff and volunteers model Christ’s unconditional love and acceptance as they walk alongside these teens -- filling their lives with love and support. We have our activities every Monday night at 7:15 p.m. from September 12 through December 19th. Then outside of those nights, as leaders, we stay in touch with the students and form relationships with them through cheering them on at their sporting events, attending their plays, concerts, grabbing coffee, or going to the movies, etc! We also have a 6 day camp trip in the summer and a weekend retreat in the late fall. If you love mentoring teens, and pointing them to the hope and truth they are so eager to discover, then this is the place to be!

We are looking for volunteer leaders who love to work with and alongside teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities! Young Life leaders have the privilege of knowing and sharing their lives with teens and young adults (high school age- 22) with disabilities. While all Young Life activities are open to every kid, many Young Life areas have dedicated programs for kids and young adults with disabilities, typically referred to as Young Life Capernaum Ministries. Young Life Capernaum gives young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp and other exciting activities. Young Life staff and volunteers model Christ’s unconditional love and acceptance as they walk alongside these young adults -- filling their lives with love and support. We have our club/event nights on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month during the school year. Then outside of those nights as leaders we stay in touch with the students and form relationships with them through cheering at the Special Olympics games, attending their plays, getting ice cream, going to movies, etc! We also have a week-long camp trip in the summer and a weekend retreat in the late fall. We often need volunteers to help on these trips even if they cannot help out at Club.
