Mission Statement

GEAR Recovery believes in Giving Everyone an Advantage towards Resilient Recovery. Our focus is to provide Guidance, Education, Advocacy, and Resources to child and families experiencing substance use and mental health disorders.

Description

We offer support and resources to communities facing adversity through mental health and substance use concerns. Our goals are to advocate and be a voice for those experiencing these misfortunes to allow them to live better, productive lives, increasing quality of life and decreasing crimes and issues related to untreated mental health disorders. We will be offering a physical & mental wellness end of summer program "GEAR’ED up for Wellness" summer 2023. Our future goals are to provide therapeutic services to those in need and mental health training services to professionals and families.
