The Grant Writer/Research Assistant will work closely with the fund development team members to identify funding opportunities, research potential donors and grant prospects, and prepare compelling grant proposals and applications. This individual will play a key role in helping to secure funding to support our mission and programs. Responsibilities: Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other sources that align with CHM Bible Theatre's mission and programs. Compile and maintain a comprehensive database of grant prospects, including deadlines, requirements, funding priorities, and contact information. Collaborate with fund development team and leadership to gather information, data, and supporting materials for grant proposals and applications. Write clear, compelling, and persuasive grant narratives, proposals, and letters of inquiry that effectively communicate CHM Bible Theatre's mission, programs, and impact. Customize grant applications to meet the specific requirements and preferences of each funding opportunity, ensuring alignment with grant guidelines and criteria. Assist with the preparation of grant budgets, financial statements, and supporting documentation required for grant applications. Track and monitor grant submissions, deadlines, and outcomes, providing regular updates to the CEO.

Collaborate with CEO and staff to assess volunteer needs and create volunteer job descriptions for specific roles and projects. Recruit, interview, and onboard volunteers, ensuring alignment with organizational values and mission. Provide orientation and training for volunteers, including information about CHM Bible Theatre, program expectations, and relevant policies and procedures. Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments for programs, events, rehearsals, and performances. Monitor and evaluate volunteer performance, providing feedback and support as needed to ensure a positive volunteer experience. Maintain accurate records of volunteer information, hours, and activities using a volunteer management database or software. CHM Bible Theatre is seeking a skilled and experienced Stage Manager to oversee the technical and logistical aspects of our theatrical productions. The Stage Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of performances, rehearsals, and other production-related activities. This individual will work closely with the production team, cast, crew, and volunteers to maintain a high standard of artistic excellence and professionalism. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Production Manager, Director Team to plan and execute all technical aspects of the production, including set design, lighting, sound, and special effects. Attend all rehearsals, production meetings, and technical rehearsals to coordinate and facilitate the rehearsal process and ensure adherence to the production schedule. Create and distribute rehearsal schedules, call sheets, and other production-related documents to cast, crew, and production team members. Supervise and coordinate the activities of backstage crew, including stagehands, dressers, and prop assistants, during rehearsals and performances. Oversee the load-in, set-up, and strike of scenery, props, and equipment for each performance, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all technical elements. Maintain accurate records of production-related expenses, equipment inventory, and technical specifications, in coordination with the acting/coach Director and CEO. Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical issues and emergencies during rehearsals and performances, troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, industry standards, and regulations related to theatrical production and stage management. Collaborate with front-of-house staff, ushers, and house managers to coordinate audience seating, ticketing, and patron services during performances/events. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to cast, crew, and volunteers, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts, Technical Theater, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in stage management or technical theater, preferably in a nonprofit or professional theater environment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. Knowledge of theatrical production processes, technical equipment, and safety procedures.
