Description
The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. Give a piece of your heart and become a trained Hospice Volunteer. For a small amount of time, you can make a BIG difference in someone's life!
What is a Hospice Volunteer?A Hospice Volunteer is a valuable part of the Hospice team and offers companionship, emotional support and practical assistance wherever the patient calls home enhancing the quality and comfort of the patient's life.
From providing emotional support companionship at a patient's bedside, to running errands and providing transportation services or assisting with administrative duties. Our volunteer coordinator will help discover the best fit for you and our patient's needs. Volunteers do not do any type of "hands on" care for patients. Volunteers do not need to have any clinical experience. They just need to have a heart to help others. Help make a difference in someone else's life; make a difference in your life.
