We have a great training and support team that will help you help others! Our volunteer team is always looking to grow and add to our volunteer Group in the Horry County area. If you would like to talk about all the things we do, then you have come to the right place. You can do anything from helping our Chaplins send letters, to visiting with patients, or help in our office. We do provide full training and continuing education on what we do for our families and their caregivers. Our group works together to change the quality and care of our patients. Each patient has a team that makes a plan which includes volunteers to assist with the everyday needs. If you want to give of your time we will train you, go with you, and give you a chance to make a difference . Enhancing others lives can be as easy as sitting with a patient as they nap and the caregiver runs to do an errand. What a difference you can make!! Our local hospice company would like to invite you to change your day, your month and even your life. We work with the families of our patients to help them pick up groceries, run an errand or sit with their loved one while they go to a doctor appointment. We have the most amazing people who have moved to the area and are now facing the ending chapter of their lives and no one to help them but those who are kind. Don't get us wrong we don't just send you out! We train you, go with you, and work to match you to the closest patients. If you have the desire to help others, than look no further our team would love to talk to you and tell you about our great volunteering opportunities Orientation and consistent training is provided. Continuing healthcare education units are free.
