Washington, D.C. ICO is a community outreach program of the Sierra Club that provides safe, enjoyable experiences in nature for DC youth. We are seeking volunteers (must be 18 years old or older) to assist us with providing these outings.
Volunteers will assist certified DC ICO leaders in transporting the kids to and from the outing location, making the meals for the children, and ensuring the trips are conducted safely. Volunteers who enjoy nature and who wish to share their knowledge and love of it with children growing up in an urban environment are encouraged to join our meet-up group.
