CAPERNAUM IS ABOUT CREATING MINISTRY SPACES WHERE TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES CAN MEET JESUS AND GROW IN THEIR FAITH. ​ ULTIMATELY, THE VISION IS THAT ALL STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES WOULD HAVE A SENSE OF BELONGING WITHIN YOUNG LIFE. THROUGH FRIENDSHIPS WITH LEADERS, STUDENTS CAN FURTHER DISCOVER THEIR MANY GOD-GIVEN GIFTS AND TALENTS. ​ IN GIVING OPPORTUNITIES TO PRACTICE USING THEIR GIFTS, OUR FRIENDS WILL BE READY TO USE THEM TO SERVE IN THEIR LOCAL CHURCH, LOCAL YOUNG LIFE MINISTRY AND COMMUNITY. ​ CAPERNAUM YOUNG LIFE STARTED 7 YEARS AGO IN LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY AND THE LORD HAS BEEN FAITFUL TO PROVIDE STUDENTS, FAMILIES, LEADERS, AND VOLUNTEERS. WE ARE CURRENTLY SERVING STUDENTS WHO ATTEND EASTERN AND BALLARD HIGH SCHOOL ALONGSIDE OUR TYPICAL YOUNG LIFE HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY.
