Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Grant Writer/Donations Specialist with a background in finance to join our team. This volunteer position is essential for securing the funding needed to support our programs and initiatives. The Grant Writer/Donations Specialist will research, identify, and apply for grants and donations to ensure the financial stability and growth of Big Bang Artwork. Key Responsibilities: Research and identify potential grant opportunities and funding sources. Write and submit grant proposals, applications, and reports to foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Develop and maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications. Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors. Prepare compelling and persuasive donation requests and fundraising materials. Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for grant applications. Track and report on the status of grant applications and fundraising efforts. Provide financial analysis and support for grant budgeting and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and grant guidelines. Qualifications: Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or related fields. Background in finance, accounting, or related discipline. Strong research, writing, and editing skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
