Crescent Hospice is in need of a few outstanding Administrative Volunteers to assist us at our Union location! Administrative Volunteers work in the office locations of Crescent Hospice. Administrative Volunteers may assist office staff with tasks such as: - Assembling care packages for our patients. - Making bereavement calls to families who have recently lost a loved one. - Participate in community events with our marketing staff. - General office organization. SCHEDULE Schedule will be determined based on availability of the volunteer. Volunteers are free to volunteer as much time as they would like during our office hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, M-F. TRAINING The volunteers at Crescent Hospice are truly invaluable and significant to our mission. We provide hands-on and detailed training along with continuing volunteer support. LOCATION Our Union Office is located at 839 Main St Suite D, Buffalo, SC 29321. A note from our Volunteer Coordinator: " Howdy, Union! Having been a hospice volunteer for 4 years, I have seen first-hand the impact of every single volunteer that stands up and says 'YES! I will help!'. Hospice has greatly assisted my own family through loss, so I find immense joy in giving back to our community that has been there for us. Crescent Hospice is in need of a few outstanding Patient Care Volunteers to assist us at our Anderson location! Patient Care Volunteers work directly with patients and families and make routine weekly/bi-weekly visits to patient's homes. Activities that may be done with patient can include: -Reading to the patient. -Watching patient's favorite TV show with them. -Preparing small meals for patients who can self-feed. -Helping patient write letters to loved ones. -Assist with light house hold chores, etc. SCHEDULE Schedule will be dependent upon the needs of the patient and the availability of the volunteer. In most cases, a volunteer is matched with a patient who has similar schedule needs. TRAINING The volunteers at Crescent Hospice are truly invaluable and significant to our mission. We provide hands-on and detailed training along with continuing volunteer support. LOCATION Our Anderson Office is located at 301 W Beltline Blvd, Anderson, SC 29625.
