Are you looking to make a difference? Hospice Administrative Volunteers are an essential part of our hospice team! Administrative Volunteers provide support to Care Center staff through assistance with day-to-day office responsibilities. This may include things such as: -Assisting with compiling and mailing bereavement letters, sympathy cards, assist in the planning for memorial services -Assisting with assembly of "welcome baskets" for patients in nursing facilities, raffle baskets for fundraising, etc. -Special outreach/research projects within the community This is wonderful experience for anyone interested in a career in the medical field or interested in learning more about hospice care! Volunteers Make a Difference! If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people's lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer! Our volunteers are an important part of our hospice care team, helping to improve the quality of life for our patients, their families and their caregivers. We are looking for great volunteers that are willing to assist in various capacities. Training is provided and volunteers are supervised by a volunteer coordinator and supported by other members of the patient care team.
