Highway To Destiny has an opening for someone who will participate in building the organization's foundation, help carry out the mission & vision, attend monthly meetings, participate in fundraising and provide financial support every year. This candidate will perform the Chair's responsibilities when Chair is unavailable, work closely with the Chair and perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Board. We serve homeless individuals in St. Louis City and County by providing hygiene items, food, clothing, household items and other resources that assist them in transitioning into communities. We are looking for a canidiate who will 1) Participate in building the organization's foundation 2) help HTD carry out it's mission and vision 3) work closely with other board members 4) attend monthly meetings 5) provide financial support every year. Highway To Destiny is a nonprofit who serves the homeless individuals in the St. Louis area by providing food, hygiene items, clothing, household items and other resources to assist them in transitioning into communities. We have been in existence since 2009 and we are expanding our territory. HTD is seeking two attorneys who have at least 3 years experience in the nonprofit field. They would provide counsel for HTD when legal issues arise and represent HTD during court hearings.

Board Seat: Looking for a Secretary........

Highway To Destiny serves the homeless in St. Louis by providing food, clothing, hygiene items and other resources to assist them in transitioning into communities. We currently have an opening for a Board Secretary to join us through the rest of 2024, with a possibility of serving another year. The candidate will send out the agenda for monthly meetings, take notes during meetings, send out meeting minutes in a timely manner and perform other secretarial duties. The candidate will provide financial contributions every year and participate in fundraising and other special projects. The candidate is expected to attend the majority of the meetings, be able to speak English fluently and live in the St. Louis area. Mission Statement

HTD's mission is to serve the homeless in St. Louis by providing food, hygiene items, clothing,household items and other resources.

Description

HTD was formed in 2009 and we have our bylaws in place. We have hosted a few fundraisers and we are on the move. Our current program is called
Drops of Love. With this program, we provide care bags for a different homeless recipient each month. Our next endeavor is to provide a transportation
program that will provide rides to and from work for clients during the week. HTD's goal is to provide basic necessities, transportation and housing
services for the homeless in St Louis and surrounding areas.
