We are looking for a qualified Content manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for partnering with an organization that values addressing the needs of youth in the community with a goal of helping them succeed. You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to promote our nonprofit's goals while celebrating the successes of our students along the way. Your duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills. As a Content manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail oriented. It would also help if you had experience with content optimization to expand our donor base while providing a consistent brand message. Ultimately, you should be able to oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience. Responsibilities Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets Collaborate with other support staff to plan and develop site content, style and layout Create and publish engaging content Edit, proofread and improve writers’ posts Optimize content according to established goals Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic Communicate trends and other information to BOD at monthly meetings Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection) Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention Requirements and skills Proven work experience as a Content manager Hands on experience with MS Office and WordPress Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics Familiarity with social media Excellent writing skills in English Attention to detail Good organizational and time-management skills Helpful to have a Degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field but not necessary

Website Developer Reports to Executive Director Position Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to update and maintain the website and social media pages, monitor traffic coming to the sites and respond to social media posts. This partnership gives college students and or skilled developers a unique way to give back in the community while assisting others who need a helping hand, to succeed. The candidate needs to be passionate about a career in information Technology and have a desire to continue developing those skills while supporting and promoting our story. Rebecca’s Garden of Hope is a tutoring and mentoring program for underserved youth in the community that has been impacting the lives of youth and families for over 15 years. The goal is to use our web and social media platforms to share our message of empowerment with our youth, families, community partners, donors, service providers and other interested parties as we continue working to develop long term relationships that will help to sustain and grow our ministry. Duties and Responsibilities Create visually appealing pages that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation Design and develop the front-end and back-end components Maintain the websites, or teach board members how to do so Skills Knowledge of current web standards Understanding of the needs and challenges in developing and maintain an engaging community website Understanding of site architecture, usability, and basic interface design principles Familiarity with common web design platforms similar to Squarespace and Weebly Qualifications: Experience in front and back in web development, coding managing online content Excellent written and oral communication skills Passion for serving the needs of underserved youth in the community Time Commitment Minimum commitment at least 6-12 months. Accountant and Bookkeeper Reports to Treasurer and Executive Director Position Purpose Rebecca’s Garden of Hope seeks an accountant and bookkeeper to continue helping our nonprofit manage finances as we use our donations and resources to continue reaching, those in need. Rebecca’s Garden of Hope is an after-school tutoring and mentoring program assisting underserved youth in the community. This organization has been impacting the lives of youth and families for over 15 years, and all of the support and services we offer recipients, are free. For that reason, we are seeking individuals like you to partner with us to help support our efforts, as we work to meet and manage our financial needs. Duties and Responsibilities Under the direction of the Treasurer and the Executive Director, the accountant and or bookkeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of duties including processing payroll monthly, financial record keeping and managing other transactions. Current transactions include completing tax documents, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and overseeing employee payroll. Additionally, it includes regularly maintaining and updating donor base information in QuickBooks and providing a monthly excel spreadsheet of donors to the Treasurer and Executive Director for thank you’s and follow-up correspondence. In addition to these responsibilities, another primary function will be to maintain a current log of donors, which includes names, addresses, and phone number to build our donor database. Responsibilities can be divided up and the accountant and or bookkeeper can work together or independently to maintain accurate records, manage donor profiles and track grant information to ensure funds are being used properly. List of Specific Duties 1. Processes payroll; prepares and records paychecks; processes state and federal payroll tax deposits and prepares reports in a timely manner. 2. Issues checks for bills, including background checks, employee reimbursements and stipends in an accurate and timely manner. 3. Prepares 1099s, W-2s and 941s as needed 4. Ensures that all expenditures are appropriately categorized to accommodate year-end reports, including specific details about grants, in-kind donations and individual and corporate donors. 5. Weekly mail coordination to include receiving and processing mail to maintain accurate records 6. Reconciles bank accounts and provides reports to the Treasurer and Executive Director prior to monthly meeting held the 3 rd Tuesday of each month. 7. Alerts the Executive Director to past-due accounts and potential account issues and helps to resolve those issues in a timely manner. 8. Provides recommendations and tracking tool for fund accounting and cyclical expenses 9. Proactively maintains organized filing system for all financial transactions and records 10. Assists in the development and implementation of systems and procedures as needed to maintain accurate records, manages donor and grant information and ensures funds are being used properly. 11. Coordinates and communicates with insurance company and lawyer to pay Board of Director insurance, Annual Report fees and any other monthly or annually reoccurring bills. 12.Works using generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Qualifications: 1. Either working toward completing or currently have a bachelor's or master’s degree in finance and experience in the nonprofit sector would be helpful. 2. Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks 3. Additional proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office and Excel 4. Strong mathematical skills 5. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality 6. Desire to give back to the community with a focus on helping to empower youth Time Commitment Candidates will work on average about 2-4 hrs/wk. The organization also asks for a minimum commitment of at least 1 year of ongoing support. Also, after assessing the success of the partnership a longer commitment may be discussed. 1 HR CAN HELP! BECOME A VOLUNTEER AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILD’S LIFE! We have been supporting youth in the community for over 15 years and we are always looking for volunteers like you, to join our team. We assist youth ages 4-17 with homework help using a variety of different tools and resources online. No experience is needed but b ackground checks are required. A mandatory orientation is required for all tutors before you begin tutoring and we ask that all tutors be at least 17yrs old. Tutors under 18 must have their parent's consent to participate. Although COVID restrictions have been lifted in many places, tutoring sessions are continuing to be held online via ZOOM, Wednesday from 5:30PM to 6:30PM. Subjects include: Math, Reading, Grammar and Spelling. We are really in need of Math and Reading tutors. Call Ms. Sanya or Alisha, the tutor coordinator at 407-273-0101 for more information.
