Looking for a volunteer with business/administrative experience in the animal shelter/welfare world that can work alongside our founder to create actionable plans to build the Sanctuary from a solo run charity to a self-sustaining organization. Looking to create a business advisory committee to develop staff/volunteers who can elevate the organization to more a professional and lasting presence in the Tellico Plains, TN area. The target being to allow the founder to concentrate more on being the "face of the business" on social media and PR while the farm is managed and run efficiently by trusted volunteers. Are you a creative solutions person who enjoys meeting new people and creating connections? We're looking for you! Raise funds for our cause. Research potential donors to gain insight into needs, beliefs and donation habits to understand how to position our organization to them Assist in brainstorming and creating new methods to raise funds for our organization Leverage technology and social media where possible to improve fundraising activities Assist in planning and coordinating events meant to raise funds and coordinate activities of volunteers and interns related to event planning and execution Create marketing materials, like flyers and brochures, to be used for the promotion of events and other fundraising pushes.
