Mission Statement

Creating community awareness and involvement for the preservation of our beaches and oceans.

Description

Beach Bucket Foundation installs and maintains cleanup stations giving beachgoers the opportunity to pick up trash while enjoying the beach.

Created from the need to have buckets available on our beaches on a constant basis. we installed our first stations February 2020 just prior to Covid, installing two stations for Palm Beach County and three for the City of Boynton Beach, then getting shut down until November 2020. Since then we have installed 39 stations in 24 parks throughout Palm Beach and Brevard Counties.

Our goals are to have stations available throughout the country and to hold cleanups throughout the participating counties, alternating between their municipalities while promoting our sponsors and our mission through social media. Working with local businesses, schools and other local organizations to create even more community awareness and involvement, on a national level.

Volunteering for the bucket patrol has been fantastic. I can set my own hours and feel so productive when I go out to replenish our stations. The Beach Bucket Foundation has such a meaningful purpose to keeping our oceans clean. I highly recommend anyone who loves the beach to volunteer.

I’ve been volunteering with Beach Bucket Foundation since 2021. It has brought me so much joy to be involved in the movement to keep our beaches and ocean clean. I volunteer as “Bucket Patrol” whenever I have time to go to the beach. I make sure that the beach bucket stations located in my area are in good order. I also join organized cleanups, or simply grab a bucket when out on a walk along the shore. I’ve met many amazing volunteers through Beach Bucket Foundation and have a great admiration for its founder who started it all. I recommend this organization to anyone who is looking to get involved and is passionate about the environment. Together we can make a difference and keep trash from polluting the ocean and endangering marine life.
