Coffee/Pastry Service-Clothing Room, Wednesday Mornings

Serve coffee, pastry and snack bags to members of the community as they prepare to visit the clothing room upstairs. Some volunteers will be asked to work the clothing room if needed. Assist members of the community with clothing needs. Clients will visit table and communicate clothing needs and volunteers will become "personal shoppers". Monday Dinner Service

Help service a complimentary meal to anyone in the community! TACO serves a meal that includes a hot entree, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, pastries, homemade soup, juice, and coffee. Dinner is served to the guests by volunteers in a cafeteria-style setting inside and guests enjoy the meal outside on the patio. Volunteer Engagement Coordinator will be asking for a volunteer to assist with dishes. Tentative schedule: 3:45pm - Dinner service starts 5:00pm - Dinner service ends and volunteers start cleaning up the area 5:15pm - Clinics (medical, dental, and legal) start arriving to utilize the area Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes Attire: Comfortable, closed-toe non slip shoes Masks are optional. Please bring your own water bottle. Physical Ability: If you are willing to assist with setting up/taking down the tables and chairs, you will be lifting no more than 20 lbs. Waiver: Please fill out the T.A.C.O participation waiver before starting your shift. They are available at the entrance of TACO. Description

TACO is actively seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of weekly events including:

Free meals are served every Monday at 4:00 pm and Friday at 9:00 am including a hot entre, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, pastries, homemade soup, oatmeal and coffee.

Twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, volunteers will package a hot to-go meal for distribution.

On Wednesdays, volunteers serve coffee, hot chocolate and pastries downstairs on the patio. Upstairs, volunteers will assist with weekly clothing needs of the community.

Additionally donations drives occur weekly Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4pm. Currently accepting ladies and men's (high demand) clothing and shoes. Items for hygiene kits travel size work great!
