Grow to understand our potential donor pool and hold a vital role in planning events and coordinating other activities to encourage donations and help us move toward our goal of inspiring and empowering students and teachers. You will work closely with the CEO/Founder, to assign, meet and exceed fundraising goals, and in turn, grow and improve your communication and leadership skills and organizational capabilities in this pivotal role. Essential Job Functions: The position entails four main tasks: Research and identify fundraising opportunities and establish relationships with donors; Organize activities to raise funds or otherwise gather monetary donations or other gifts to support MBM’s mission; Design and produce promotional materials and raise awareness of the organization's work, goals, and financial needs. Raise funds for our cause and regularly meet or surpass fundraising targets Research and develop fundraising opportunities, including single events and detailed campaigns and potential donors to gain insight into needs, beliefs and donation habits to understand how to position our organization to them Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize departmental activities to meet organizational goals, and assist in brainstorming and creating new methods to raise funds for our organization Assist in planning and coordinating events meant to raise funds and coordinate activities of volunteers and interns related to event planning and execution Maintain complete and orderly records of donors and manage regular donor communications Collaborate with other organizations and groups within the community to build partnerships and enhance fundraising activities

Mission Statement Minds Beyond Measure (MBM), a nonprofit, strives to inspire purpose and passion, to empower and cultivate great minds in children, youth and teachers to improve educational outcomes in New York and developing countries. Background of Our Organization Minds Beyond Measure (MBM), is a nonprofit, newly established in 2019. It was birthed from the founder's traveling experiences and living abroad across Asia, and seeing a lack of educational resources and the lack of access to education in some very impoverished communities. The journey included training teachers, teaching children and youth, visiting rural schools with limited or no resources, experiencing children and youth who were hungry for small things, often taken for granted in the Western world, such as pencils and paper to write and books to read. This experience then evolved into a passion to serve the underserved, at risk and provide access to quality education for both teachers and students through pathways that inspire for life. This is when MBM was born. The developer will work with Google Ads to create campaigns to raise awareness of our organization along with driving traffic to our website. You’ll also help us create more efficient ways to navigate our website. You will hold a vital role in helping us move toward our goal of inspiring and empowering students and teachers. A commitment to our organizational values and vision is key. You will work closely with the CEO/Founder, to meet and exceed web development goals, and in turn, grow and improve your development and organizational skills in this pivotal role. A recommendation/reference letter will be provided for you. Essential Job Functions Build and optimize Google Ad campaigns to drive traffic to MBM’s website and increase awareness of our organization Maintain and optimize a secure web page for evolving business needs Provide continued support for one or more web properties Maintain communication with team members and supervisors concerning the direction of the website Code and script applications Perform routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance, on an as-needed basis Stays abreast of industry trends, needs, innovations, and opportunities. Must be willing to commit a minimum of 2 hours a week and be willing to make a 3 month commitment. Up to 10 hours a week and willing to make a 3 month commitment as an intern. MBM focuses on delivering transformative teacher coaching, professional development, and mentorship programs through Creative Arts, serving underserved communities in New York and the Philippines. Role Overview What if you could go to work with a renewed sense of purpose, knowing that the work you do contributes to a meaningful cause? As the Partnerships & Outreach Coordinator with MBM, you will have the opportunity to lead our efforts to grow our footprint and turn MBM into a nationally recognized nonprofit. This commission-based paid position allows you to earn a commission for every partnership you secure. You will play a key role in forming partnerships with schools, community organizations, and juvenile centers to deliver teacher coaching and mentorship programs for children and youth through our Creative Arts programs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in building business partnerships, has excellent communication skills, and can seamlessly balance relationship-building with creativity and data-driven strategies. You’ll help define the roadmap, develop resources, and be supported in meeting revenue and partnership goals, all while helping us inspire and empower students and teachers in underserved communities. Job Duties and Tasks ● Research and develop a client database of schools, community organizations, and juvenile centers for targeted program outreach ● Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize outreach activities and brainstorm new methods for forming partnerships ● Create an outreach strategy and develop a communicative approach to effectively present MBM’s programs to potential clients via email, cold calls, and other outreach methods ● Conduct weekly outreach efforts across New York City to potential clients to form relationships, build partnerships, and increase the likelihood of securing large contracts ● Assist in planning and coordinating meetings with potential clients for the CEO to deliver partnership pitches ● Regularly maintain and update the database of prospective clients, tracking outreach efforts and partnership progress Job Skills & Qualifications Required: ● A passion for education and philanthropic work, with a commitment to the nonprofit sector ● Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in communication, business, public relations, or a related field ● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in public speaking and relationship-building ● Experience in building partnerships and business relationships ● Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively ● Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying new partnership opportunities ● Minimum commitment of 2 hours a week Preferred: ● Experience in a nonprofit or similar philanthropic organization ● Previous experience in outreach, sales, or partnership development ● At least one year of experience in fundraising or partnership-building roles Compensation: This is a commission-based position with the opportunity to earn commission for every successful partnership or contract secured. Your role will directly contribute to MBM’s mission and growth while allowing you to earn based on your success in forming partnerships.
