Mission Statement
RUSC Kinship Mentoring is a community-based youth mentoring program established in rural Minnesota serving the Stevens County area since February 2015. RUSC Kinship Mentoring was established as a result of a grass-roots movement in our community with the mission to provide mentoring opportunities for children, youth and families in our community.
Description
Our mentors are caring adults over 18 years old who complete a comprehensive background check and commit to spending at least an hour a month with a young person for a minimum of one year with the expectation that a caring relationship will form.
