Position: Cat Laundry Assistant Responsibilities: Visit the local laundromat once a week to wash and dry laundry items used by special-needs cats at our sanctuary. Clean and sanitize cat beds, blankets, towels, and other fabric items to ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment for our furry residents. Fold and organize clean laundry for easy accessibility by sanctuary staff. Qualifications: Passion for animals, especially cats. Reliable and committed to a weekly schedule. Ability to handle and launder cat-related items with care and attention to detail. Comfortable working independently and following sanctuary guidelines for cleanliness and hygiene. The Cat Concierge opportunity consists of cleaning duties around the sanctuary - including scooping litter boxes, sweeping and mopping floors, and detail cleaning as needed. Other duties may come up as requested such as meeting demands for pets and scritches, brushing kitties, and delivering cat treats. Time spent interacting with the cats is considered essential to this volunteer role.

All you provide is the love. You keep them until we get them adopted! Then if you wish, you can bring in another! Forever Fostering: Ever wanted a cat but were concerned about the expense? Consider being a Forever Foster for us! Take a cat into your home. We will set you up with everything you need to get started. After that, you provide all of the food and love, and we provide all of the medical care, including flea and heartworm treatments, regular vaccinations, and any ill or emergency care. If your cat's diet is out of your budget, we will help there also.

For this opportunity you will open your home and heart to a special cat. We will provide everything you need. There are two types of fosters we are looking for. Short-term fosters take in our adoptable cats and keep them until they are adopted or moved on to another rescue. We provide everything you need. You provide the love and care, and transportation to and from medical appointments set to your schedule. Forever fosters take on special cases like senior cats or blind cats - special needs with simple care. They will remain for the life of the cat. We provide everything. Mission Statement

Coppers Cat Commune is dedicated to the lifetime care of a limited population of ill, disabled, immune compromised, senior, or otherwise adoption challenged cats. We also provide adoption services for a limited number of adoptable cats.

Description

Copper's Cat Commune was started by Mimi Baker with the help of her husband Matt, two people with a real passion for cats. We believe that every cat deserves a chance at a happy life, regardless of the hand life has dealt them. That is what we are here to do. We provide a safe place for those with nowhere else to go. We work with paraplegic cats, fecal incontinent cats, senior cats, basically cats that no one else wants or has the capability to handle. All of our cats are available for adoption if someone truly wants to undertake the level of care that some of our cats need, but we plan to give them a home for life.

Our cats have both indoor and safe outdoor access. We have cat enclosures around the property. We have many feral cats as well that have there own enclosures and shelters. Our goal is to ensure that our cats are as happy as they can be. That is the whole purpose of living life.
