Mission Statement

To connect photographers and videographers (storytellers) to grassroots causes, NGOs and non-profit partners all over the world to make storytelling more accessible. Our hope is that by amplifying voices and building capacity for communication, we can make a powerful difference.

Description

We are a diverse, ethically literate community of storytellers (photographers and filmmakers) uniting to support our frontlines community partners (change makers in the areas of social and environmental justice) where it’s needed most. We do this through our Assignments, and inspire new generations of storytellers through Storytelling School and our other initiatives and resources. Our mission is to make storytelling more accessible for communities around the world who are contributing to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and UNDRIP. We are also a small, BIPOC-led non-profit registered in the US & Canada.
