Mission Statement
Our mission is to bridge the gap between alternative education, balanced social-emotional learning, and conservation to create a more sustainable future built within our youth. We strive to assist families in identifying their educational style and needs, by illuminating the resources and options available to them while providing guidance as they navigate their educational pathways. Our programs address the problem of educational inequality for families that choose to educate their children outside of the traditional public system. We accomplish this by providing flexible, multi-sensory curriculum and enrichment options, homeschool consulting, parent support classes, vetted and affordable resources, speaker events, meetups, on-demand tutoring, and K-12 portfolio management. By supporting our organization, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community and beyond.
Description
Head2Heart Partners in Education (H2HPIE) was born in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic amidst an onslaught of violence in educational settings and various legislative movements that sought to limit homeschool families' rights and options. As fellow homeschooling parents, we believe that education should be for the growth and benefit of our children and that parents should have a choice in how it gets accomplished.
Our program gives parents the freedom to raise their children with the morals, ethics, beliefs, and traditions of their choice by providing only academically focused options. By separating academics from religion and traditions, our program is all-inclusive and welcoming to families of all faiths and backgrounds. Our Head2Heart homeschool programs foster and support community and family bonding while encouraging conservation and connections with nature. Homeschooling starts at home, but you are never alone.
