Mission Statement

Empower rural and indigenous people with training in rights, citizen and human development, and microproject production while helping them to lead the bottom-up sustainable development of their own marginalized communities.

Description

PSYDEH (Psicoligía y Derechos Humanos) is an award-winning Mexican NGO that educates and empowers marginalized women in Mexico to lead social change and fight the inequalities they face.

Our necessary work uses leadership training and human rights education so women are empowered to elevate their communities and be a part of electoral processes.

Our objective is to support women-led micro-projects that improve the conditions within their own marginalized areas.

We are currently working together with indigenous women to solve local problems in the four indigenous municipalities of the Otomí-Tepehua region of Hidalgo, in central Mexico.
