Video Design Intern Status: Intern (unpaid) 4-8 hours per week (six month commitment is preferred, 4 months is appreciated) Reports to: Executive Director/Founder The Video Design Intern works closely with the Executive Director/Founder. The Communications department exists to build awareness, educate, and solicit individuals & companies interested in supporting Dare Humanity. Strongly preferred: someone currently pursuing or who has obtained a degree in Nonprofit Administration, Communications, video editing, or a closely related field. Core Responsibilities: Assisting with the development of communications and marketing campaigns and strategy, including thinking creatively about campaign videos for storytelling, as well as implementing the logistics of campaigns. Developing videos to reach partners, donors, corporations and funders on social media (Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, Facebook) and YouTube (Shorts and long form videos). Designing and creating captions for videos for social media (LinkedIn) and email (MailChimp), including scheduling. Assisting with other markerting efforts as needed. Specific hours, start and end dates are flexible and to be determined between the intern and the Executive Director/Founder. Job Qualifications: Experience and Knowledge Understanding and supporting the mission of Dare Humanity. A commitment to serving underserved communities and youth in developing countries. Ability to apply our values in relationship development, written work, and communication. Experience with video design and editing, managing simple projects with minimal supervision, and providing outstanding work. Excellent organizational and written communication skills. We are looking to stay consistent with our supporters by providing at least 1-2 blog posts a month. Hours are flexible and we are looking for a skilled writer who is interested in lending their expertise. Blog posts will also need to uploaded and designed in Wix.
