Yogi Squad is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable and free, interactive yoga storytimes designed to enhance literacy development and promote positive social, emotional, and physical growth in all children.

Description

Yogi Squad provides programming that combines literature, mindfulness, and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) for a unique, interactive yoga experience that is engaging, inviting, and exciting for everyone! During classes, children are encouraged to experiment in a safe, non-competitive environment, where they learn to use their bodies as a tool for regulation of themselves and their emotions. In addition to these benefits, our enhanced storytime creates an enriched environment for children to develop and increase critical language and literacy skills, as well as a natural love for reading and books!
