Administrative opportunities available as well. At 24/7 Care at Home Hospice, we believe that everyone deserves compassion and support during their final days. We provide care and comfort to patients wherever they call home. We understand that the presence of a caring individual can make all the difference, and that's where you come in. Our volunteers come from all walks of life: college students, adults with flexible schedules, retirees... anyone who wants to make a positive impact. You don't need medical experience or specific qualifications to volunteer with us-just an open heart and a willingness to be there for others in their time of need. As a hospice volunteer, you will have the opportunity to provide companionship, emotional support, and a listening ear to patients and families. Your presence alone can bring joy and comfort to their lives. Whether you engage in heartfelt conversations, read aloud, play music, or simply hold a hand, your time and presence will make a world of difference. To ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, we require all volunteers to pass a background test and a TB test. These tests are provided by our hospice, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone involved. Additionally, volunteers must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance as you may need to travel to various locations to visit patients. By volunteering with our 24/7 Care at Home Hospice, you will not only make a profound impact on the lives of our patients and their families, but you will also experience personal growth and fulfillment. Virtual Opportunity
Are you a licensed Massage Therapist with a flexible schedule and a heart for the elderly? Do you have a passion for "giving back"? Do you have a valid drivers license and current auto insurance? If you answered yes, we would love to meet you! Our hospice patients have been fortunate enough to have had one of the sweetest volunteers to provide MANY massages over the past several years. As with all good things, this too is coming to an end. Our loyal volunteer must sacrifice her time with us to further her education. What this opportunity might look like to you is this: 1-2 days per month, you would drive to 2-3 patient homes to provide a gentle massage in an effort to enhance your patient's quality of life, Places of service include private residences, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, in Orange County. Mileage is reimbursed monthly.
