Mission Statement
Our mission is the prevention of juvenile delinquency and the promotion of positive development in young people. We strengthen families, provide outreach to youth at risk of school failure and contribute to the building of a healthier township community.
Description
Welcome to the Department of Youth and Family Services. As a child, a parent, family or community partner - the department's work empowers individuals and groups to make healthy decisions that benefit the youth, families and communities of Hanover Township. Since 1966, the department strives for excellence in service and goes above and beyond in its mission driven efforts. The staff offers prevention and intervention services in multiple arenas to best meet your needs and works collaboratively with individuals and groups to tap and grow natural supports, resources and relationships. Our core programs and services include:

- The After School Open Gym Program
- The Alternative to Suspension Program
- Tutoring Services
- Substance Abuse Prevention Services
