Join us to become a Mentor for the 2024-2025 youth programming season! We currently have info sessions on 7/22 and 8/1, as well as a training on 8/10 - apply below if you're interested to learn more about what it's like to be a Mentor with us. Four Corners team members dedicate time and a listening ear to offer hope to youth in crisis while helping them discover the pathway to becoming a thriving adult. Our mentors are a vital part of our team and this discovery process. Mentors spend an average of 3-5 hours each month with their mentees and are expected to walk the journey with each student for at least one year. As a mentor you may assist with career exploration, goal setting, or simply sharing your personal experiences from your life journey that are appropriate for the student. Each Mentor will work with a small group of same-gender Mentees over the course of the year, meeting at pre-determined intervals at one of our program locations (Marietta or Austell). The mentor application process will include a background check, training, and personality assessment in order to make the best match possible for you and the student. Mentor Responsibilities: Empower student to resolve current issues & develop coping strategies for the future Use clear communication and set appropriate boundaries to model a healthy relationship Acknowledge student’s strengths and talents / encourage them to discover how to use them Be an active listener, offering support and encouragement when appropriate Engage in activities outside of the home to expose student to new opportunities Mentor Qualifications: Valid driver’s license Completed background check and training Ability to set boundaries with others Willingness to provide emotional, social and practical support within limits Acknowledgement that all people have strengths and need to discover how to use them Commitment to a 1-year term once matched with Mentees during the Fall 2024 season.

Position Summary: Four Corners Group is currently seeking 2 passionate and excited Team Members to join our Social Media & Marketing Team. This team presents the unique opportunity to help a growing youth development non-profit grow their social media and marketing presence from the ground up. This team will help craft social media posts and bring new promotion and marketing ideas to Four Corners Group. They will also be involved in targeted social media campaigns designed to raise funds and awareness. The ideal candidate will be an individual with an interest in social media and passion about making a difference among Atlanta’s youth. This is a great opportunity for students seeking experience in building social media campaigns and strategies, or marketing professionals seeking to give back. 5-10 hours per week of commitment is requested in a remote, collaborative working environment. Start and end dates are flexible. Responsibilities and Duties: Help build and execute a social media strategy for Four Corners Group (FCG) Craft regular, ongoing social media posts across FCG platforms Increase number of people engaged with FCG social media platforms (followers, following) Effectively manage FCG social media platforms by engaging with comments, subscriptions, etc. Propose and create marketing strategies that can be utilized to raise funds and awareness for the vision and mission of FCG Attend FCG-wide meetings and trainings as needed and requested Attend FCG youth programming events periodically Qualifications: 5-10 hours per week Experience with main social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc) Experience with social media management platforms is a plus Background or studies in marketing or social media is a plus Collaborative attitude and strong teamwork skills Organizational and communication skills

Assist in chaperoning students needing transportation in the Austell/South Cobb area on the provided 15-passenger van to and from the Pathways to Success youth development program events. Create a welcoming, fun, and safe experience on the bus as students are picked up and dropped off for the program by making sure the driver can focus on the route and the road.

Join us to help create a meaningful and impactful environment for our middle and high school youth as they participate in our youth development programs! From checking students in, to serving food, to setting up and breaking down, you'll have the chance to create a safe space for students to learn life skills, character, and job readiness assets through our year long youth program. We have several roles available on our "Dream Team" including hospitality, food service, youth engagement, making sweet treats and more! The program currently runs weekly on Thursday evenings, 5:30-9:30pm for 10 weeks from January-March, once monthly during April-August, and weekly on Thursdays for 10 weeks September-November. It is not required to be present at every session, though consistency is preferred. The ideal candidate has a passion for seeing youth thrive, and has a welcoming and hospitable attitude to help our youth have a meaningful experience. Prior experience with youth programs is a bonus, but not required. All candidates must pass a background check and complete a Child Safety Training video series.
