Arthritis Foundation - Denver, CO is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our 2025 Walk to Cure Arthritis (WTCA) event committee. Committee members partner with the event Chairs and Arthritis Foundation staff to ensure that the event meets its community engagement and fundraising goals. Responsibilities may include: Attending regular committee meetings Recruiting and outreach Soliciting sponsorships and donations: financial and in-kind Assisting with social media and communications Helping day-of during in-person event ( 06/07/2025) Sharing the mission of the Arthritis Foundation The ideal people would be willing to commit several hours each month between now and the event which will be held on 06/07/2025 at Hudson Gardens. WTCA our flagship fundraising event! Your support is more important than ever as we honor the nearly 60 million Americans living with arthritis. Arthritis Foundation Connect Groups are peer-led support groups, social, and educational groups that regularly meet in person or virtually to provide connections that are inclusive to adults living with all types of arthritis and rheumatic diseases or to parents/guardians of children with juvenile arthritis. Facilitators bring people together to provide: Social and informative events and activities focused on peer support group and positive coping strategies.
