Do you like to organize things? Then this just might be the right opportunity for you. At Turning Point we have a clothing donation program, we call it Bloomingdales. This is a room filled with all sorts of clothing and sneakers. When the items are donated to us we need to first sort through to see what fits our needs and then organize it by gender, season and size. These items are then made available to the clients who attend our residential program who come to us without any clothing or shoes. We also have a lending library. When books are donated or returned after use by the clients they need to be organized and kept in order in our library. Both of these opportunites are flexible to weekdays and hours between 8:30 AM and 5 PM.

Recovery from substance use and mental health disorders is a multi-faceted process. Physical well-being is one of those important pieces of the puzzle along the road to recovery. At Turning Point we strive to offer a multitude of practices which will assist individuals along this tough road. We are seeking volunteers who are trained in Yoga, Tai Chi, or other forms of holistic well-being. If you are trained in one of these areas and are passionate about our mission of helping those seeking recovery from substances, please contact us to learn more. The schedule is flexible in terms of days of the week, however the shifts listed are the times of day we have open for this activity. Exercise Instructor for Aspire Adolescent Counseling Center

The ideal candidate possesses experience in conducting exercise classes such as Pilates, total body workouts, cardiovascular, yoga, meditation, etc. Aspire Adolescent Counseling Center, a Turning Point Program, is seeking adult volunteers to conduct exercise classes at their site in Pompton Plains, NJ that would be appropriate for youth ages 13 to 18. Aspire is the leading choice for adolescents seeking meaningful and compassionate treatment for adolescent substance use and related co-occurring disorders.
