Every SCORE chapter depends on the talent and time of volunteers to help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams of small business ownership. We’re currently looking for volunteers to work on specific projects. These volunteers are staffed based on their unique skills and are welcome to assist with leadership and chapter support tasks-they really are the backbone of the organization. SCORE needs bi-lingual mentors who can help aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners whose first language is not English by providing business expertise, support, and the necessary tools to help them reach their goals. As a mentor you will use your industry-based knowledge and expertise to help clients solve problems, increase business efficiency, and assist with developing long-term business plans. Mentors often have significant experience within their field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to dedicate a few hours a week.
