Y.A.A.S. Queen (Y.A.A.S. meaning Young Adults Advocating Self-confidence) is a new Chicago, Illinois based 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization established with the aim of organizing a positive and enriching experience which will lead to an improved quality of life for women in the Chicago and Illinois area. The organization’s programs & services, implemented by committed volunteers and staff, will emphasize character development to increase the self-confidence among the women they serve. Y.A.A.S Queen will provide many women with a thorough foundation for future success by supporting the development of self-confidence, hard work, healthful living, good judgment, and character.

Y.A.A.S. Queen passion is the advancement of women but is extremely dedicated to at-risk girls of color in education. The organization will provide a financial literacy program to freshman and senior girls of color in underresourced schools in the Chicago area. The program will form partnerships with local school districts and local colleges and universities to guarantee acceptance and tuition-free for secondary education. Y.A.A.S. Queen's goal is to foster a commitment to women that will promote; healthy self-imagery, financial stability, college, and career readiness to help steer the path from the school to prison pipeline.
